DIABADASS COMMUNITY

Introducing Our Diabadass Online Community

*Diabetes is the greatest epidemic in human history. The prevalence of diabetes (type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes) is said to increase by 25% by 2030 and then 51% by 2045. Currently under half a billion people are living with diabetes worldwide and one in two people (50.1%) living with diabetes don’t even know they have diabetes.

Diabadass Community - Diabetics Group

In the Diabadass community we understand this and want to help fight against it. We understand the stress, confusion, and constant battle of diabetes. We all try to be perfect with our blood sugar, but it just seems impossible. We hear you and are with you, that is why our goal is to form a culture and community to help offer support, gain knowledge and share experiences around this chronic disease. The medical and health field do their best they can to support us, but more times than not it is not enough. They do not completely understand what we go through, as well as the life and death battle that we fight against daily. Diabetics make an average of 180 more decisions every single day about their health than someone without it. Being able to come to a community with any questions, guidance and motivation is something we wish we had when we were first diagnosed.

In our community you’ll find a wealth of topics covered in discussions, ranging from dietary advice and exercise tips to the latest medical research and treatment options. More importantly you will find real-life experiences, stories of resilience and words of encouragement from others who truly understand the challenges and triumphs of living with diabetes.

Our goal is to create a resourceful, inclusive community where no question is too small, no story is insignificant, and no one feels alone on their journey. Whether you have been managing diabetes for years, just newly diagnosed, have family members with diabetes or are professionals looking to help, the Diabadass community is here to offer you the support, camaraderie and understanding you need. Everyone in this community is looking to improve themselves and get better. Additionally we do not support victim mentality, so if you are not here to actively try to improve yourself and get better, this might not be the community for you.

Having type 1 diabetes can feel like you are all alone, but not anymore. Take control of your diabetes and own it, do not let diabetes own you. Join us as a Diabadass and together we can learn, grow, and navigate the world of diabetes. Make diabetes your superpower, we are Diabadasses!

We look forward to having you as part of our community!
